First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at two different ways to numb the leg for knee surgery: spinal anesthesia and a nerve block. Researchers want to see how each method affects the heart's electrical signals and levels of inflammation in the body. 80 adults having arthroscopic knee surgery will take part, and their heart activity and blood tests will be compared before and after the procedure.
