Doctors use ultrasound to find the safer breathing tube for kids in surgery
NCT ID NCT07196137
Summary
This study compared two types of breathing tubes used to help children breathe safely during short surgeries. Researchers used ultrasound to measure how much air entered the stomach with each device, as this can cause nausea and other complications. The goal was to see which tube was more effective at keeping air out of the stomach in children aged 1 to 12.
