First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at how well the 2023 and 2024 flu vaccines work by giving the 2023 vaccine to 23 adults late in the season (May-June 2024). Researchers compared their immune responses to those who got the 2023 vaccine in fall 2023 and those who will get the 2024 vaccine in fall 2024. The goal was to understand how changing the vaccine each year affects protection. Participants were healthy adults aged 18-64 who had not received a flu shot in the past year.
