Village teams and training aim to stop newborn deaths
NCT ID NCT04663620
Summary
This study tested a community health program designed to prevent deaths of newborn babies in a remote, low-resource part of Cambodia. Over 24,000 people were involved across 21 community areas. The program trained local health workers and held regular village meetings to identify and solve problems in newborn care, with the goal of creating a model that could be used in other similar settings.
