Photos and stories aim to bridge gap between parents and doctors in ICU
NCT ID NCT06208332
Summary
This study is testing whether a communication tool using photos and personal stories helps parents of children with severe neurological conditions communicate better with their medical team during intensive care stays. Researchers will enroll 160 parents and their children's doctors to see if the approach is practical, acceptable, and reduces stress. The goal is to improve understanding and connection between families and healthcare providers during difficult hospitalizations.
