First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This small pilot study looks at how patients feel about two common medications—adenosine and diltiazem—used to treat a rapid heart rhythm called supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) in the emergency department. About 20 adults with stable SVT will take part. The goal is to see if a larger study is possible and to understand patient preferences.
