NCT ID NCT07183501

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a new surgical technique that uses two types of scopes (hysteroscope and laparoscope) to repair a uterine niche—a pocket in the C-section scar that can cause spotting after periods. The goal is to see if this combined approach better relieves symptoms and increases the thickness of the remaining muscle wall. The study will enroll 30 women with postmenstrual spotting due to a uterine niche.
