New drug duo targets hard-to-treat lung cancer in early trial

Summary

This study tests two drugs together for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has HER2 abnormalities. The drugs are SHR-A1811, which targets HER2, and ivonescimab, which boosts the immune system. The goal is to see if the combination can control the cancer longer. About 30 adults aged 18-75 who have not responded to prior therapy or are newly diagnosed will take part.
