New combo therapy hopes to beat rare skin cancer

NCT ID NCT04930653

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining two treatments—extracorporeal photopheresis (a light-based blood treatment) and mogamulizumab (a targeted antibody)—can better control erythrodermic cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, a rare skin cancer. About 34 adults with advanced stages of the disease will receive both therapies together. The goal is to see if the combination improves response rates and is safe.
