Supercharged immune cells take on multiple cancer targets at once

NCT ID NCT03125577

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a new approach using a mix of specially engineered immune cells (CAR-T cells) that can recognize up to seven different markers on B-cell blood cancers. The goal is to see if targeting multiple proteins at once is safe and works better than single-target treatments. About 100 patients with relapsed or hard-to-treat B-cell cancers will take part. The treatment is still experimental and aims to control the disease, not cure it.
