NCT ID NCT05419531

Summary

This study aimed to understand how common colorectal cancer and precancerous growths are in young endurance athletes. Researchers examined 94 male and female athletes aged 35-50 who regularly ran long-distance races. They performed screening colonoscopies and compared the results to average-risk people to see if intense exercise affects cancer risk.
