NCT ID NCT04523389
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether small particles called exosomes, released by tumor cells into the blood, can serve as early warning signs for colorectal cancer progression. Researchers analyzed blood samples from 172 patients to see if the number, size, and contents of these particles were linked to cancer stage and survival. The goal was to find new biomarkers that could help predict how the disease will develop, without needing invasive biopsies.
