Church-Based videos aim to unlock latino participation in cancer trials
NCT ID NCT06426927
Summary
This study tested whether Spanish-language educational videos about colorectal cancer, delivered in a church setting, could increase knowledge and willingness to participate in cancer clinical trials among Latino adults. Researchers recruited 60 Spanish-speaking Latino churchgoers to watch the videos and complete surveys. The main goal was to identify the specific barriers that prevent Latino individuals from joining cancer research studies.
