Chemo after Pre-Surgery for colorectal cancer: necessary or not?

Summary
This study looks at whether patients with locally advanced colorectal cancer that improved to stage II after pre-surgery chemotherapy or chemoradiotherapy still need additional chemotherapy. Researchers will follow 650 participants to compare disease-free survival and side effects between those who receive adjuvant chemo and those who do not. The goal is to determine if the extra treatment is truly beneficial or can be safely skipped.
