Ultrasound reveals hidden blood vessel damage in scleroderma

NCT ID NCT07012655

First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at 30 adults with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) to see how the disease affects blood vessels in the arms and belly. Researchers used a special ultrasound to check the radial, ulnar, and splanchnic vessels. The goal was to better understand blood vessel problems in scleroderma, not to test a new treatment.
