Wake up faster after your colonoscopy? study tests early sedation stop
NCT ID NCT07168135
Summary
This study is testing if stopping a common sedative drug (propofol) early during a colonoscopy can help patients recover their thinking and coordination faster after the procedure. Researchers will compare recovery times in 100 adults who either have the sedative stopped early or continue as usual. The goal is to see if this change speeds up recovery without making the procedure less comfortable for the patient.
