New device aims to make polyp removal easier during colonoscopy

Summary
This early study tests a new support structure (CIESS) that may help doctors remove colon polyps during a colonoscopy. Four adults with a positive stool test and a left-sided colon polyp will take part. The main goal is to see if the device can be placed successfully in one try.
