Summary

This study tested whether injecting collagen into the heel can safely ease pain from chronic plantar fasciitis. Sixty adults who had not improved with other treatments received either collagen or a placebo injection. Researchers measured pain levels and heel thickness over 12 months to see if collagen worked better than placebo.
