First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests if cooling the kidney with ice slush during robot-assisted partial nephrectomy helps it recover from temporary blood flow loss. About 310 adults with kidney cancer will be randomly assigned to receive cold or warm ischemia. The goal is to see if cold preservation improves kidney function after surgery.
