Brain training program aims to sharpen minds and improve daily life for people with schizophrenia

Summary

This study is testing a therapy program designed to help adults with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder improve their thinking skills, like memory and problem-solving. Participants will do computer exercises and attend group sessions to learn strategies for daily life, while a comparison group continues their usual rehab activities. Researchers will measure changes in cognitive performance, social skills, and daily functioning after the program ends and eight weeks later.
