First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding cognitive sensory motor training to regular physical therapy can improve hand and arm function in children with cerebral palsy. Thirty-two children aged 6 to 12 will be split into two groups: one gets the extra training plus routine therapy, the other gets routine therapy alone. The training involves 35-minute sessions five times a week for 12 weeks, focusing on tasks that engage thinking, feeling, and movement.
