Coffee and patchouli cream put to the test for dry skin relief
NCT ID NCT07360639
Summary
This study tested whether a new cream made from local Aceh ingredients—Gayo Arabica coffee bean extract and patchouli—works as well as a standard 10% urea cream for treating dry skin. For 6 weeks, 64 adults with dry skin applied one of the creams twice a day. Researchers compared how well each cream improved skin hydration, reduced dryness and itching, and affected quality of life.
