Summary
This study aims to see if using coconut oil for mouth care works better than standard glycerol sticks at improving oral health in elderly hospital patients who can't care for their own mouths. Researchers will compare changes in mouth health scores over 8 days in 94 patients across multiple hospitals. The goal is to find a simple, effective way to maintain oral hygiene and comfort for vulnerable elderly patients during hospital stays.
