First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study compares two common treatments for acne scars: a fractional CO2 laser and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combined with microneedling. About 116 adults with moderate to severe atrophic acne scars will receive one treatment on each side of their face to see which works better. The goal is to find the safest and most effective option for improving scar appearance.
