First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests whether giving a CMV vaccine to stem cell donors can boost the recipient's immunity after transplant. About 34 blood cancer patients receiving donor stem cells are involved. The goal is to prevent CMV viremia, a common and serious viral infection, without directly vaccinating the patient.
