First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks for early warning signs (biomarkers) of Charcot-Marie-Tooth 1A (CMT1A) in people aged 10 to 30. Researchers will analyze blood, skin, and nerve data from both rats and humans to find markers that predict how the disease will progress. The goal is to make future clinical trials possible in children, so treatments can start early and prevent nerve damage.
