New drug hopes to tame hardening skin disease

Summary

This study tests a new drug called CM-101 for people with systemic sclerosis, a disease that causes skin hardening and organ damage. About 45 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo to check safety and how well the body tolerates it. The goal is to see if CM-101 can reduce disease activity and inflammation.
