First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a fully automated insulin pump (closed-loop system) can improve kidney oxygen levels in people with type 2 diabetes and moderate chronic kidney disease. About 76 adults will use either the automated pump or standard insulin therapy for 26 weeks. The main goal is to see if the pump helps kidney health, measured by special MRI scans.
