Summary
This study measured how closed suctioning (a method to clear airways) affects blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, oxygen levels, and pain in 67 intensive care patients on ventilators. The goal was to see if this technique causes fewer side effects. Results may help nurses choose safer suctioning methods.
