Summary
This study tested a 15-month combination of three drugs for people newly diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a type of blood cancer. Forty-two participants received an initial three months of two drugs, followed by a year of a third drug designed to kill cancer cells by blocking a specific protein. The goal was to see how well this sequence worked to control the cancer and how safe it was.
