Summary
This study tested a new type of CT scanner (Edge-on Silicon Photon Counting CT) in a hospital setting. 76 adults who already needed a CT scan had an extra scan with the new device. The goal was to collect raw data and check image quality, not to treat any disease. No direct benefit to participants was expected.
