This study looks at whether drinking only clear liquids for 24 hours before anesthesia can reduce leftover stomach contents in patients taking GLP-1 drugs (like Ozempic). It involves 136 people having an upper endoscopy. Researchers will use ultrasound to check stomach volume and see if this diet lowers the risk of food or liquid entering the lungs during anesthesia.
