New laser eye for lung cancer: Real-Time diagnosis during biopsy?
NCT ID NCT07538947
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a special microscope (CLE) that lets doctors see lung tissue in real time during a biopsy. The goal is to quickly tell if a suspicious spot is non-small cell lung cancer and what type it is. About 70 adults getting a standard lung biopsy will also have CLE imaging, and results will be compared to lab tests. If successful, this could speed up diagnosis and treatment decisions.
