First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study will follow 300 adults with chronic kidney disease (stages 2-4) to see if a panel of proteins in urine can detect and monitor the disease early. Researchers will also track how well the kidney function holds up in people taking a common diabetes drug (SGLT2 inhibitor). No new treatments are given; the study only observes standard care.
