Major trial aims to find best combo to halt kidney disease

Summary
This large international study is testing different treatments, alone or in combination, to slow the worsening of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The goal is to prevent or delay kidney failure so fewer people need dialysis or a transplant. About 1,000 adults with CKD who are already on standard care will join, and researchers will track kidney function over two years.
