First human test of new cholesterol drug begins

NCT ID NCT06727396

Summary

This early-stage study tested the safety and how the body processes an experimental drug called CKD-508 in healthy volunteers. Forty-four healthy adults received either the drug or a placebo to check for side effects and measure how the drug moves through the body. Researchers also looked at early signs of whether the drug might affect cholesterol levels.
