Do Fruit-Flavored cigars hook young smokers more?

NCT ID NCT04487470

Summary

This study aimed to understand if flavored filtered cigars are more addictive than unflavored ones, especially for young adults who smoke both cigars and cigarettes. Researchers remotely enrolled 89 participants aged 21-34 and provided them with both flavored and unflavored cigars over several weeks to compare smoking behaviors. The goal was to gather knowledge about how flavors influence tobacco use and addiction, without testing any treatments.
