New shot may replace IV drips for nerve disease patients

Summary

This study looked at whether adults with CIDP, a nerve condition that causes weakness, can switch from regular IV infusions to a new shot called efgartigimod PH20 SC. 23 people who were stable on IVIg took part. The goal was to see if they could stay on the new treatment for 12 weeks without their symptoms getting worse.
