First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways to treat a type of foot injury called a Chopart fracture without surgery. One group will wear a cast or boot for 6 weeks to keep the foot still. The other group will use a stiff-soled shoe and walk as soon as they can. The goal is to see which approach helps people recover better and get back to normal walking sooner. About 70 adults with this injury will take part.
