Can a Vitamin-Like nutrient boost menopausal brains?
NCT ID NCT06924541
Summary
This study aims to see if taking smaller amounts of choline, an essential nutrient, can change brain activity patterns in healthy postmenopausal women. Researchers will compare two low doses of choline to a placebo using brain scans (fMRI) while participants do memory tasks. The goal is to understand if choline can support more efficient brain function after menopause, similar to effects seen with higher doses.
