First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether an oral cholera vaccine can protect healthy children aged 2 to 14 from infectious diarrhea caused by germs other than cholera. Researchers will give the vaccine or a placebo to 6000 children and track how many get diarrhea. The goal is to see if the vaccine offers broad protection against common diarrheal illnesses.
