This study looked back at the medical records of 609 patients treated for gallbladder inflammation (cholecystitis) in hospitals in Villavicencio, Colombia, between 2019 and 2022. The goal was to understand how quickly patients received care, what treatments they got, and what their outcomes were, including complications and death. No new treatments were tested; instead, the researchers gathered information to help improve future care.
