Ancient meets modern: can combined therapies halt a painful spine disease?
NCT ID NCT07509775
Summary
This study aims to see if using traditional Chinese medicine alongside standard Western drugs can better control inflammation and slow spinal damage in people with ankylosing spondylitis. Researchers will follow 210 patients for up to two years, tracking their pain, mobility, and spine inflammation using MRI scans. The goal is to understand if this combined approach leads to better long-term disease control and quality of life.
