First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked back at medical records of 44 adults who had a special metal rod (CHIMAERA nail) placed inside their thigh bone after a fracture. The goal was to see how many patients' bones healed within a year and how many needed another surgery. The study did not test a new treatment but instead gathered information on how well the device works in everyday hospital practice.
