New community program aims to tackle childhood obesity where families live
NCT ID NCT06546696
Summary
This study is testing whether adapting a proven family-based obesity program for local community centers makes it more accessible and effective for children. Researchers will compare the original program to a version tailored for rural, low-income, and minority families in Tennessee. The goal is to reduce health disparities by bringing weight management support directly into communities that need it most.
