First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aims to improve how doctors diagnose two rare blood cancers in children: myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML). Researchers will use standardized lab tests and genetic analysis to better understand these diseases. The study will enroll 260 children under 18 with confirmed MDS or JMML. It does not test a new treatment, but focuses on gathering information to improve future care.
