French doctors launch major childhood kidney disease tracking effort

Summary
This study aims to create a national database of French children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome, a rare kidney disease. Researchers will track 1,180 children under 18 to understand disease patterns, treatment responses, and side effects over time. The goal is to gather information that will help design better future treatment studies, but this study itself does not test any new treatments.
