Researchers test better ways to spot early childhood development delays
NCT ID NCT07457411
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to check young children's brain development during regular doctor visits in Botswana and Kenya. Researchers will test two different quick screening methods on 5,000 children aged 16-24 months to see which approach works better in real clinics. The study will measure how many children get screened, how much time and money it costs, and what healthcare workers and parents think about the process.
