First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a comfort program for children aged 5-10 in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The program includes listening to their mother's voice, dimming lights, and using a weighted blanket, along with regular nursing care. Researchers want to see if this helps children feel more comfortable, less anxious and fearful, and sleep better. About 86 children and their parents will take part.
