Summary

This study tests over 5,300 people in about 10 Brazilian towns to see how many have already been infected with chikungunya virus before a new vaccine (VLA1553) is offered. Participants are aged 2 and older who live in selected households. The goal is to understand how past infection affects whether people choose to get vaccinated.
